I have been trying quite a number of times....whenever I place another adsense ad into my site, it will not appear (only the first one is shown). Do you guys know what should I do?

What is the type of banner you use? Maybe there aint enough advertisers to fill all the ads.

125x125... I try putting 3 of them. It doesn't work... is something wrong with my account?

    Btw here's a sample...
    http://www.gnextreme.com/ad.php

There is only one ad appearing... when there are 3 ad codes. Only the first one appears..

no for sure! nothing wrong with your account!

The problem is, however, the second ads does not appear due to the fact that it cannot find the relevant information in your site in order to serve ads. May be it takes sometime to crawl your site to serve ads in the second place.

You can use the Google Adsense Preview tool to see how many ads can be displayed in one page before decide to add one more add code in the same page. I experienced the same thing b4, but after few days all the ads are shown.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the tips... guess I will have to wait for the adsense crawler to crawl the page then. :)

Well, there's no content on the page for Google to show ads for as far as I can tell. Once you have enough content it'll start to show ads.
