Hi All, Finally I had to mail a check to my designer because I couldn't send money to him through paypal. I found a way to contact the Paypal Executive Escalations Dept and they just kept telling me that it was being stopped by paypal due to a risk enforcement policy and they couldn't do anything about it and just asked me to wait.They also said that my credit card was good and active. Its ridiculous because I was paying a small amount and I haven't done much transactions.And I had used the same credit card before to pay successfully. Infact I even added another credit card and it gave the same error :Authorization failed, Please try again. I also upgraded to a premier account but still the same problem. Will I be able to ever send money through paypal ? Any solutions ? Anyone who has gone through such a hassle before ?
i've been using paypal since 2004 and never had such problem. Perhaps you should ask them to elaborate on what "RISK ENFORCEMENT POLICY" Means...
They just say that sometimes paypal may block certain transactions which could affect some accounts in good standing. In such cases, you can always use a different mode of payment. Now I used a different mode of payment which is a different credit card (And thats the only way you can use Paypal in India) ..and even that didn't work
Well, it is possible that the one you are paying has a bad rating with Paypal or deemed to be risky somehow. I guess you can't blame them for protecting you.
Sometimes it really S**ks to understand their policies! May be u need to use some other ways to fund your paypal. that could work, if your paypal is working and its only that u can't send payment via your credit card?
