    hey guys,

this is kind of an embaressing question, as I've been doing SEO for about 3 years now and have always had pretty good success, but I cannot for the life of me get G to index www.allmetalforums.com. it is indexed well on both Yahoo and MSN, and has more than enough inbound links for it to have been crawled by now.

also, i submitted a sitemap to google sitemaps with the help of a popular vbulletin sitemap mod.

inbound links are going to both the entrance page and the forum sub sections themselves.

i was wondering if you guys have any ideas or see anything i've overlooked.

up until today if i searched for www.allmetalforums.com in Google it would show the results including just the URL www.allmetalforums.com with no cache or anything.

    any ideas?

oh yeah, the site has been online and had inbound links for over a month now.

thanks very much for the help.

First of all, remove your "welcome page" so it will redirect to your forums.
Google doesn't like "welcome pages" and try to exchange some links..

    Good luck :)

Well, a month is not a long time. I see that both your "welcome page" (which I agree with BuildHome you should get rid of) and the main-foru index has been indexed, so it should just be a matter of time before more pages follow. The google cache has been down all over for the last several days btw. [EDIT: scrap that, both of your pages are actually cached in google, both of them on the 24th]

unfortunately i cannot get rid of that main page and redirect to the forums, because the main page is just there as a place holder while we work on the front end of our cms.
