This might be a really dumb question, but I haven't had this happent to me before: I have bought a new website and transferred the DNS to my server. I forgot that I hadn't moved it at the start, so I only saw a parked domain the first day. But now that I have moved it and uploaded Wordpress, I still see the parked domain. When I give the link to others, they all see the wordpress page as if nothing is wrong, but I (both at work and at home) see the parked domain page, with ads and all. I have tried removing cookies, but that does not help. What could be the problem?
you may want to try to clear your browser's cache and history or try opening your website using some other browser. it may also be a DNS propagation issue and the changes may not be propagated to your place yet. did you try to ping your domain from your location and see where it resolves? also you can use a simple online tool to check your DNS propagation at http://www.whatsmydns.net/ EDIT: you can also use intodns.com to check for any DNS issues, but since you said everybody else can view your website, I assume your DNS is correctly set-up.
DNS can take a few hours to update. Like mentioned above, clearing your browser's cache and flushing your DNS can help. However, make sure you don't have a DNS issue. http://leafdns.com to check your DNS records. It would help if you provide the domain name if you are still having issues.
use opendns and then input your URL here => http://www.opendns.com/support/cache/ and then refresh. Restart your computer and then try to visit your URL again. You will now see your WordPress site.
