I recently installed apache 2.2 and configured it as such:
    sitename: nclandservice.com
    server name : localhost
    email: pc_repair_guys@yahoo.com

I then went to godaddy who was hosting my site, and ftp all my site files to the "HTDOCS" folder in Apache.

Then, Parked my domain at godaddy.

I started the server, but when i type "http://www.nclandservice.com" in the search bar IE can not show the page. I tried it in google, found my site, clicked on it, but same result. What am I doing wrong?

    Windows7 by the way.

    http://who.is/dns/nclandservice.com/

nclandservice.com resolves to the IP 66.207.246.150

This IP is not pingable. Assuming this is the correct IP for your server, their is something preventing it from being reachable via the internet.

for some reason my apache was turned off. It is up now but, when I type in :
http://nclandservice.com my site home page comes up. I can then browse all other pages. But when I click "home" it tries to resolve to "http://nclandservice.com/index.htm" and can not. my home page is named "index". Also, how do I forward my email from user@xxxxxx.com to a new email account?
