Can't see my .htaccess using cpanel file manager

When I use cpanel (11, stable release) file manager I can't see my .htaccess which is a bitch. Why is this? It was working the other day, and I haven't touched my site since. I'd delete it and try and make another, but I have WP and it's got some settings in there and I don't want to mess it up.

Is this a common problem? How can I fix this?

Try accessing it using FTP and make sure you set so that you can view hidden files.

Filezilla works. I want to be able to edit everything in the cpanel file manager (so I can just click edit and I can edit it and then save - easy)
