Can't login at Azoogle after running Spybot...

    Hey,

After running Spybot recently (and deleting the Azoogle cookie found), I can no longer log in to Azoogle from this machine. The toolbar still works and I can log in with other computers but this machine always goes to the login page with the message "You must be logged in to access this area. Make sure you have cookies enabled!" I, of course, have cookies enabled. It's only Azoogle that I'm having a problem with.

What should be done to allow login? Should I remove Spybot and then re-install being careful not to delete the Azoogle cookie again, or is there a setting I can alter in Spybot?

Thanks for your help. I'd really like to log in at Azoogle again! :)

I had this problem too. No need to uninstall the program. What I did was, I 'undo' the "Immunize" function and then went to "Tools" and turned off the Resident protection. But you will need to manually scan your pc just like the older spybot versions.

Hey, thanks for responding. I undid the immunize function and I can now log in at Azoogle. Is there a danger of never using the immunize function though? Must I now always leave it off?

I think with Firefox, I just went to Tools -> Options -> Privacy, then removed any mention of Azoogle from the cookie exception list.

I had already removed the program though, so I'm not sure if it updates that list and would re-add it or not. Even if it does, it only takes a few seconds to fix it again.

I ran into this problem again and tried Mike's suggestion of removing Azoogle from the cookie exception list and it worked even though the Immunize function is still on. So I suppose you can do either one and it'll work.
