Can't leave feedback

Apologies if there is a better place for this in advance.

I recently made a purchase and am trying to leave positive feedback but I am getting an access denied type message whenever I click leave feedback. It is strange as I've left feedback before without a problem.

savageman123, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

    1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?

Certain forums have specific requirements for posting, which you can find here.

    2. Some areas (for example premium articles) are only available to premium members.

    3. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

    Any thoughts?

It might be a nice idea to include it in the FAQ'a and direct users to it when they try to leave an itrader, we have atleast 10 threads like this in the past week and I don't see it stopping unless its in the FAQ's.

    Thanks for the info.

It might be worth revising so that you can leave feedback only for users once they leave feedback for you if you are in my position.

How did this decision get made?? it's kind of silly in my opinion. If a person has the access to post and buy a product, they should be able to have the access to post feedback on it.

I just sold a website, and the buyer wants to leave positive feedback, but can't because he isn't 'an established member'..... and where are the requirements posted to know what an 'established member' is??

^^ It was done because people usually make new accounts to leave negatives.
