    Hey everyone,
I installed the trial version of dreamweaver but there was a problem and it wasnt working properly. So i tried to uninstall it but it didn't even let me do that! So instead i downloaded a program called "Total Uninstall 4" and i used that program to uninstall adobe dreamweaver for me.

I then later got the Adobe CS3 Master Collection (which has dreamweaver, photoshop, everything else, etc). I was able to install all the other programs (photoshop, illistrator, etc) but it said that Dreamweaver was already installed (when it wasn't) and therefore it didn't let me install it.

Now im stuck with the message saying Dreamweaver is already isntalled when it is not and i can't install it.

Is there some way round this?

I was thinking i might need to COMPLETELY remove dreamweaver but im not sure how to do this as i cant find any traces of it being installed at the moment?

    Can anyone help please?

    Thanks!

Remove the Macromedia entry from the registry. It's under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE.

    Hope this helps.

If you're downloading CS3 it takes a ton of memory and has high requirements.

Contact macromedia if the things above don't work.

If you ever need to get rid of bad keys in your registry. Use registry Mechanic! Good program.
