cant get on msn

Hi,

I recently installed SP2 on my mechine, and tryed to login to MSN, and it wouldn't alow me, even tho I have all the ticks on the trouble shoter thing,

anybody know why?

 

What's the error message that comes up? This happens to me every now and then, you just have to wait.Also, how long has this been happening for?

In the meantime, just use http://www.ebuddy.com

does the troubleshooter come up with any resolutions?

This happened to me a few times on my XP SP2 machine, I can't remember how I fixed it, sry...

I don't see why ebuddy wouldnt work, does ebuddy give the same error?

Try doing what the error says, take a look at your firewall.

 

I have no idea what to do, I really need to talk to someone!!!

Ive delated the enterys on my firewall, and on ebuddy becasue my comptuer has low spec it wont run it.

 

Theres an HTML version of ebuddy I think, have you tried that?

Problem was fixed over Remote desktop

For those who want to know, it was because the date/time wasant setup correctly on the PC.

great to here 4 u, but now i´ve got a problem... every time a sign in into MSN mesenger the troubleshooter comes up with the process "wireless failed", dunno what could it be?! :S:S

 

when this happens i just click repair on the network icon then it works for me

 

I have this problem off and on with MSN and it's been going on at least a year. I've never been able to find one thing that causes it and it usually works after leaving it off for several hours. Good luck.
