Can't get my 'Recent Blog' to show?

I am trying to show my most recent blog, and when I put in the blog xml feed, it still doesn't show. Has anyone else ever had this problem?

    http://www.informativepost.com/rss.xml

    Thanks for any help.

Same problem here. I finally got the link to show after lots of finagling. When I click on it...it takes me to DP threads. What do you guys see when you click on it?

I had the problem of the text not showing as well. Make sure your blog has a title field.

All your blog link says is "Sometimes...", and it points to a thread in dp

My rss feed follows the standard, and I don't have a problem submitting it to any rss directories, and I can read it through my google reader. This doesn't make any sense.

Yeah...the "Sometimes..." is the title of my latest blog post. I don't know what the problem is, but I've been trying to figure it out for a couple weeks now. hehe Maybe I should just take it out and rely on my sig link to my blog. I posted a thread similar to this for help a week or so ago and didn't get anywhere. No one seems to know how to fix it.

But hey, if we figure it out, we can write an e-book and sell it for $7 a pop. LOL Just kidding.

I am fairly certain that the format of the feed has to be siteurl/feed or similar for this to work.

could you possible write the xml code in here so that I could get a better idea? THanks.

Emirates, the link just redirect to a site page, doesn't really help me. :(

That didn't work, Jason. hehe Now, I got nothing. At least before I had the title of my latest blog entry up there. The problem is that the link points to threads on DP...I haven't figured out the pattern yet...like if it is my last post or what, but yeah. It's messed up royally.

My RSS feed URL is: http://feeds.feedburner.com/waxingpoetic75

Is that not what I put in the box?

Mine doesn't work either and hasn't done so for some time. Dunno what the issue is - I didn't change anything. It just stopped working one day.

When you alter your profile options, there's a list of supported formats right above the address box. The list is a little vague, but it helps.

Feedburner isn't one of the supported formats apparently, at least not the format you get a link for from the feed management screen.
I had issues with a feedburner feed that comes from a Blogger blog. I believe Feedburner alters the format of the feed between blogger & the reader.

Blogger feeds are kinda quirky, some of the feeds comming directly from Blogger will result in a title being displayed on your posts, but they will link back to the post instead of the blog.
At least one of the Blogger/Blogspot feeds will link directly to the feed in posts.

The format I've gotten to work best for me from Blogger looks like this, & it links to the blog feed.

    That's all I know.
It's not much, but should be able to hlep someone. :D

This is the best information posted yet. Thanks Joebert. Rep added. I regret to report...it did not work. LOL You know...you feel like you know a little about computers until you get something like this...

It doesn't seem like too many others are having problems. I see that others' links go to their blog. It seems simple enough, and yet I can't get it to work...after 10 years on the internet!!! LOL I always laugh at myself because at times like this, it seems like I know just enough to fail miserably.

That's not really my attitude, but sheesh! Anyway...thanks everyone for your help nonetheless.

I think everyone who is having a problem with their blog feed should go back to basics... and blame someone else! Shawn!
