    Hi everyone!

I have reworded just about everything i can on my main page of my site and i just simply cannot get my keyword density for 3 keyworkds over 2-4.5% each of the entire page. My keyword tag has them, title, description, many sentences on the page, footer, alt img tags and i still am stuck. Is there something more i can do to up my keyword density?

On the plus side, they're higher than my competitors. So i'm a leg up there... :)

    Thanks for the advice!

I'd advise you not to increase the kw density.

really? How come? is 4% good enough? or am i just wasting time?

Ok, did some searching and there seems to be quite a debate between this forum and articles on the web. Some say no more than 2%. Some say up to 5-7%. I don't know what to trust, lol.

Just mention your keyword(s) in the title, once in an h* tag and once or twice in the text, depending how long the text is. The basic rule is write coherent text for a real person and make it sound professional. It's worse to overdo it than to "underdo it"

Yes you must make it humanly readable or people will tend to choose another website.

Yeah, i agree. And i am not simply stuffing keywords everywhere. I place them in logical spots. :)

This is a good tool helping you calculate the density for all your keywords in your page. Beware to do not count meta tags keywords and density, comment tag and title attribute in your keyword density result (only with this tool, see at the bottom of the page 'options' and uncheck what i said). If you do so you will have a clear list of what is your keywords density for your page!
