Can't get Joomla website to generate XML sitemap

    Hi all,

    I'm struggling a bit with something as basic as generating a XML sitemaps for our Joomla-based website www.madforlivet.com.

    I have tried using the plugin "XMAP" but regardless of what I do I keep getting this error message:

    Error loading stylesheet:
    A network error occurred loading an XSLT stylesheet:http://madforlivet.com/index2.php?option=com_xmap&view=xslfile&tmpl=component

    Does anybody know what this mean or what I'm doing wrong?

    I can also see that I keep getting 404 errors on http://www.madforlivet.com/sitemap.xml so clearly something is not working.

    The stylesheet warning is not important for search engines. But to get 404 "bot found" error for your XML sitemap is bad :(

    Have you tried creating joomla sitemap with an external tool? And then upload it yourself?
