i am sad to say that this thread has not fixed anything. Their are sitll numerous threads of webmasters asking when ypn will be available to canadians etc.


I think if a lot of forum members posted their approval of this thread etc, maybe we could get the rules to change for the better. Maybe something like if you post asking when ypn will be public etc you get an infraction. Something like that would take care of the massive spamload (on the same subkect) in this section of DP's forum

 

You wouldnt care when its out to other countries because you have no problem getting it since you are in U.S.

What about other people who doesnt live in U.S.? of course they want to know when its out because they want to try it out so they ask and ask.

If you were from india i bet you would ask 10 times more then those people who asks.

Thanks For the support. I understand international publisher's want to find this information out but they are taking over the YPN section of DP. Every time someone posts one of these threads its taking the informative part of the YPN section on DP away from the ACTUAL ypn publishers

eh not really, the informative posts are still there, we know how to scroll down and find them. what they really should do is put some kind of filter so you can put in kw's to block threads from appearing in your list. like the word, f*ckhead. (or ypn + international)

Agreed. I'm no prude, but that kind of language just lowers the level of discourse. Part of the reason why I stopped hanging out in Usenet groups (remember Usenet?) a while ago.

As always, IMO.

 

it just makes me think that im wasting my time reading the thoughts of children who dont have an adequate vocabulary... or at least the reserve to symbol out their profanities. i wonder if in a few months if we do a search for the word f*&khead, if this post will show. now that would be funny and make it all worth it.

I completely agree, i just said it to add an effect. If you looked at my red reps you guys would laugh what this little (its getting huge) thread has done to my rep lol. I am stunned i have not got shot while going out to get the paper in the morning yet!

and all im trying to say is to stop begging... according to yahoo ceo Terry Semel they monitor this forum and for every post asking when ypn will go public/to india they lengthen the release time 1 week. So he thinks the eta is around 3932
