Can't delete or edit post

I have a post that I can't delete or edit. When I try to delete it to the trash it won't delete. And when I try to edit the post's content, or change the date so it's not on the homepage nothing happens.

Anybody know how to fix this?

you need to contact the admin of the website.

 

I think updating wordpress to latest version would solve the problem otherwise removed it from Data Bases

 

Thanks for the responses, but it is at the latest version. It has something to do with the post itself I think. I was deleting 3 recent posts I had made that had broken images and links. I selected all three and tried to delete them, 2 went to the trash and the 3rd did nothing. I tried editing the post and changing the date to get it off of the homepage, but when I hit "Update" it only reverts back without any changes being made. If worse comes to worse I'll try updating the date on some of the older posts that I do want on the first page or just make them stickies.

Could be a permissions or role assignment blocking your access. For example, if that article was created by a different user, you many not be able to delete it.

 

Manually delete them from the database.
