I have been trying to contact the domain owner of a domain i am trying to buy. If i go to the website, there is a email there, i have sent him a email but i haven't recieved a response for almost a week, and his other email in his whois info doesn't exist because when i try and email it, i get a response saying it does not exist. So now i think the owner forgot about this site and i cant take it of his hands because i cant contact him, there is a address but i don't want to use it. What do i do? How can i get the domain?

The site Say's lasted updated on 9/12/10, but ever since then he seemed to forgot about it, the site is a crappy little homemade one.

    Thanks Chris

You can contact the domain registrar, said you're the owner of this domain name. Use your mind to dig out some infomation through the operator. But i have to say maybe they just know what you'd known.

I suppose that could mean that he is not intersted in selling domain name. What do you think

Maybe the owner of that domain is not interested for your offer. Also maybe that emmais has privacy whois, this may caused the email issue.

Obviously the domain owner is not interested in selling.

To the person who suggested ringing the domain registrar and pretending it's your domain: that's a stupid idea and dishonest.

I'm not going to jump to that conclusion after all he could have just forgotten about it or his email. I didn't make this thread to just give up, neither do i give up that easily.

Most people would respond with an email saying not interested if they didn't want to sell.

It there any other way to get it or threw to him, i really would like this domain and he isn't even using it, well he is but the site is a waste.
I'm wondering it his address is valid? Maybe i should try that or ask the registrars for more info, like a phone number?

    Thanks

I wouldn't advise ringing the registrar and pretending to be the owner, most registrars have additional security - pass phrases, account numbers etc. that will need to be confirmed before we'll give out any info!

However, the domain registrar still may be able to help if you call them and are honest! They'll likely never give out any account details, but they may be able to pass on an enquiry and your details to the account owner details they hold on file. There's no guarantee, but it's another avenue that you could try!

Go to whoisdomain.com and find the contact of owner but might be possible he is not interested to sale it yet he is waiting for domain age.

    Chris-
Many times when I have received an email with a ridiculous offer or something that just did not seem right ...they got deleted.

you offered anything or just asked the price. many domainers wont bother to reply if mail contains no offers or they have no interest to sell at that time
