Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket

    My site www.muchgames.com is encountering this problem:
    Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (11)
    Code (markup):
    I contacted my host and they said they're working on it but they haven't done anything and I really need to get my site back up.

    Please help, I have no idea how to fix this.

    your mysql is down, talk to your hosting company.
