Hello, whenever I try to go to youtube, facebook, or google, I get a spalsh page that says "Click on the link you want to follow" which then links me to some ad and not to the site I want. What is going on? Is anyone else getting that? I tried both firefox and chrome and both reveal the same results. I've attached a screenshot.

Have you run a virus check lately, and checked your computer for viruses and malware? Or have you changed any of your browser settings?

    Check the file %system%\system32\drivers\etc\host.inc

Make sure that host.inc doesn't have any entry for google.com

You have a virus that has either modified your hosts file, or has changed your DNS settings.

I suggest you look up on Google how to fix these problems, and try running a virus scanner just in case - your computer has been infected, and a manual fix may be your only option.

The other alternative if you cannot do the above, is to format and re-install Windows.

I am getting the same effect on multiple divices so I fail to see the problem lying with a virus or browser settings. Is anyone else experiencing this?

    Seems like a malware.
Scan your computer with a up to date anti virus software.

Not sure what the issue was (maybe a hack), but it is fixed now. Apparently, it fixed itself.

May be a virus. Have you tried using another web browser?

Check your hosts file for entries of Google, Facebook, or YouTube.

Your system might be infected with a virus, I would recommend you installing Malwarebytes and scan your system for potential viruses.

i suggest you to check the setting options of both chrome and Firefox and also scan your system for bugs and virus.
