Can't access gmail

I can access my google account and use various service of google like google analytics. But I can't access my gmail. Getting following message for last 16 hours:

We’re currently performing maintenance on your account. You won’t be able to log in while maintenance is underway, but your account data and messages are safe. Unfortunately, we can’t predict exactly how long this will take.

If this maintenance lasts more than 24 hours, please contact us at .​

Anyone else facing the same problem?

Strange, I've just used gmail moments ago. The stranger part is that they're performing some maintenance to YOUR account.

 

Lol its not on His account .. its on the server his account is ... Lol

 

I've been experiencing the same before. Its a routine, probably country or date specific. Everything should be back to normal soon.

 

I faced this problem few times in the past for few minutes to half an hour only. This is the first time I am suffering for 18 hours.

Due to server maintenance a lot of accounts should be affected not only me.

 

My gmail opens as usual !

 

That could be the problem but "Unfortunately, we can’t predict exactly how long this will take." this is alarming. I guess you should wait another 8 hours and email them if problem persists.
