Question about canonical URLS and Link Juice. I have a directory that has businesses listed under 2 or 3 different categories. The content is pretty much the same for that business under all 3 categories. Except there are different URLS to get basically to the same information. (Kind of like how in a shopping cart products appear under multiple categories I guess.) Am I better off doing a canonical to point to 1 main URL? If i do this, does this mean link juice will travel further throughout the site rather then wasting it over 3 categories with the same listings?
Can anyone provide any input? I would like to know if its worth placing a 301 from some of the other categories to just 1 category to receive best results. Your thoughts?
