Canonical Issue?

    Dear friend,
    Please take a look at following issues...
    I don't want to got my website sub-domain "astrology.atoot.com" in google search so I have put canonical link of "www.atoot.com" on sub-domain website. But still I'm getting astrology.atoot.com on google searching...What is issues please resolve it...

    Hi,

    If you don't want your sub-domain to be listed in Google rankings then you don't have to use canonical meta tag for that, just use robot tag and mention no index, no follow in that.

    Like this,
    <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW">

    After this, your page will not be crawled and will not be shown in the rankings.
