Cannot upload wordpress back up file

    i cannot upload wordpress backup file via wordpress import option.
    It shows like below.

    Import WordPress

    Sorry, there has been an error.

    The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.


    How can i get rid of this?

    You need to be able to raise it in your php.ini. If you have access to it that is.

    Have you try to upload your wp back up file through cpanel (backup restore option) ?

    You can contact your server support people for increasing the upload limit of the file. Also you can send them a copy of this error for better support.

    its due to file size u should ask ur host they will provide best supprot :p

    Simply go to cpanel - back ur - database backup - browse - and then upload your new back up from the computer or the notebook - Delete the old back up and then say - Amen!

    you're done.
