Cannot seem to get any weight for any site I submit

Hello, I have been trying to figure out why I have no weight on any site I submit. I had submitted a PR4 site with around 886 pages in Google and I get no weight. I have the code in my footer on every page for this domain. Or so I think. It may not be on the error page, or something like that, but I find it hard to believe that one or two pages without code could screw it up.

So I have another one with a PR4 and 24 pages. Again, nothing.

Another site, PR3 with 626 pages, nothing.

So I went for broke with a PR5 site with 4810 pages, again, NOTHING.

I give up. What am I doing wrong? Does it take a few days before the weight shows up? The ads are there, and the pages are validated.

    Thanx.

are there ads showing? You said you have the code in there, but you did not say if the ads are showing. You will see the ads on your site if it is working. Also, you did not say if any of the sites were validating. Just trying to get things clear here.

Yes, the ads are showing.. I see the Western Union one about 1 out of 4 times.. They are working :)

I even loaded up 3 sets of ads on my site with 4k pages.. Nothing.

Actually, if you re-read my post you will see the following:

Yep, the are there, and yep they are all validated.

sorry, getting a bit late. :) So, your sites validate in the control panel and there is 0 weight? Over my head then. You will have to wait for the Master of the Universe to get back. :)

That is a big 10-4. They are live, validated, have the code and ads displaying, but there is no weight.

    Thanx.

Maybe you tried to validate too many times and you've used up your 1000 queries with your API... wait until tomorrow and try again.

I really do not think that is it. Unless clicking on and validating 5 sites is gonna do that.. Anyway, it is not like I just posted this stuff yesterday. I added the initial sites some time ago. This has always been an issue.

You might want to check to see if the API reports any pages. Guessing it's returning a 0 for your site.

I've noticed some big differences between what google.com reports and what the API reports. You can find out by entering your domain name into DigitalPoints backlink checker, part of the Keyword Ranking tool on this site.

Well, for 1, 4 of those 5 sites are from the same URL, and that's not allowed.

But neither of those 2 sites have any pages as far as the google API is concerned, so that's why you have no weight. It's based on the API, and the API says you have no pages indexed yet.

Understood on the multiple sites, ie., same domain, I just added each one as I could not figure out why there was no weight.

Ok, on the API front, I guess I really mis-understand. The sites are indexed by Google, have been around since 97 and see 2 millions hits/mo, have decent PR, have semi-decent back links, and do show up as indexed by Google. So how do I get listed in the API? Again, really do not understand the difference.

So I take it I should just list say www.mccoypottery.com and then wait? If so, how long? Thanx..

Eternally confused. Ok, so the backlink tracker show like 1,110 pages for mccoypottery.com. I assume this IS the API it is getting this info from? It shows 4k + for lists.mccoypottery.com, and so on. What am I missing?

    Thanx.

thank you for the link.. Had to be a combination of problems, like the API key was bad I am thinking.. I created a new account.. Changed my current account sites in the ad coop site to null and created a brand new one with my new API.. I now have weight.

    I am still confused.. Strange..

And now I've lost weight. 24 hours ago I had weight and today I hit "validate/Calculate" and the meagre number I had went down to zero. Rats. And it was all so easy to setup too...
