    Hi,
When trying to post to the BST Affiliate programs section I am constantly getting this error:

    The following error occurred:
Server did not respond in time when fetching URL ADDRESS (offline or too slow?).

(Can not even post url here)

However, the website works fine. Please, advise.

Hi there, to post in the affiliate forum you need to be approved by the admin.. have you requested this?

    Thanks

    Matt

Never heard of it. Where does it say? I know I have to be a some kind of approved member, spending 48 hours from signup and getting 3 likes. That's what I did.

You need to PM the Admin with a request to join the Affiliate Programs section. Everybody who posts there (including myself) did that at one time.

As far as the link, some links are being blocked by the system. Maybe the mods will be able to resolve this one for you. Meanwhile, you can try a different link or try to avoid using http:// or www. with your current link.

What does it have to do with the fact that I can not post this link anywhere on the forum? The bug is clearly related to this URL fetching system and not my account permissions.

As I stated in our conversation, I'm confused since link is in your signature.

    Any updates on this one?

Now I get an error "has an invalid HTTP status code (code: 405)."

That is coming from the server of a link you are posting in the post, not our end.

Whatever link is giving the error, you would want to talk to the server administrator of that site and see if they would be willing to make the changes to allow it.
