Are you sure thw website is up? Check that here http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com
If it is up then it might be an ISP problem, try clearing temporary files, cookies and history and try again. If that doesn't work try using another browser.
Can't think of anything else atm.

    1. Which browser you are using? try to open the same site in other browsers
    2. Check whether your AntiVirus is blocking access to that site. If that site is infected by malware AV may block it!

Its funny. I'm having a similar problem. I play MMORPGs and my husband and my husband hates them. I think he blocked my access to MMORPG.com. It says 401: admin has blocked access to this site - or something like that. He swears he didn't do it, I know he did. I combed the web and still haven't found a way to unblock it - but I may have done something wrong. I'm not the most techy person, afterall.

I will tell you one way to bypass it:D

I hope you have IE. Go to http://www.ultrareach.com/ and download the ultrasurf program.

It's just an exe file and no installation is required. Save it in your private folder and whenever you want to access that site just run it. It will automatically opens IE and you can browse all sites as per your wish:D

Thanks Sarsh11, that website you quoted

would have helped me several times when I ran into certain prblems with some websites.

As far as solving the OPs problem, I often find if it is a commonly used site, like thepiratebay, then a quick google search can sometimes tell you if they're down, like a few months ago when they were kicked off their ISP, google told me straight away why. Now why not all sites have anywhere near the popularity of the 'bay', sometimes you may still find other users coming across the same problem. For some reason if you can't find anyone having the same problem then post the sites url and your unable to find it problem and you may find others will also jump on the badwagon, they were just waiting for someone to start it up.....

    Hope this makes sense....
