Sigh, I'm hoping I'm posting this in the right place.. Yesterday I got an iPhone 5 and I traded in my 4s. I got home and downloaded all my apps and tried logging into my twitter app. When I tried logging in, it said "Error, you will need to generate a temporary password on twitter.com to continue." so I went to the actual website on my macbook and I can't log in there either! It tells me that a login verification request has been sent to the twitter for iphone app. Well how am I supposed to approve it if I can't log in anywhere at all? I've cleared cookies. I've tried everything. I'm thinking it may have to do with the fact that on my 4s phone...I'm still logged into twitter so maybe it thinks my account is being hacked? Do I have to make a new account?
If you didn't figure it out. On your computer, go to twitter, then click the gear for settings>>>>Password>>>>Generate a temporary password (Click Generate). You will receive a 10-12 digit password to type in as your password on your phone. Done!
