hello, I am trying to install Wordpress MU but unable too .. this is the site where i am trying . http://vtortureu.info/ .. i got this error .. and my mysql db is empty . I tried again and again but failed to install . so can u kindly help me .. Thanks, Vishal
Do following checks and share your findings with us: 1. Check that you are able to connect to mysql server using proper credentials.. 2. Check that you have given proper Database connectivity details in config. 3. If details are correct, make sure you have all tables in place. Check for following tables mainly.. wp_blogs wp_users wp_usermeta wp_site wp_sitemeta wp_sitecategories
well these tables arent their in my database .. ya it can connect . because i tried installing normal wordpress it worked .
If you're installing a subdomain format ( subdomain.site ) then you need to obtain wildcards in order to use Vhost which allows you to have subdomains on your site. If not, make sure when you install it that the db name and password is correct, as well as making sure there are no other wp's in the same directory.
