Sometimes, it takes a couple of days for Googlebot or other spiders to find a new site. I launched a new site not too long ago and I created quite a few backlinks. But it took nearly a month for Googlebot to pay a visit.

When you create backlinks, make sure those sites are decent ones. Since Google launched the so-called BigDaddy, it is rather selective as to which sites to index.

i think if you mean pr, you won't get it that soon till google does a pr update. to get indexed fast, i think getting backlinks is the fastest way you can grow.

You can check your websites statistics through apps like AwStats and it will show how many times the bot has visited your site. Chances are if you get a few visits your site has been indexed.

Also, if your site is showing a PR0, it has been crawled and at least that page indexed. If it had not been indexed then it would be showing a PR n/a at least thats my understanding.

The easiest way to get index with a new website is to get a backlink from at least a PR 6 website.

You can submit your website to directories and high PR classified websites. Check your weblogs for spider activity. Once the spiders have come for a few days, your site should be indexed in about a week's time.

The trick to getting a domain indexed is build the site - optimize the site - leave it alone. I had a site with no backlinks get picked up in a month. When it finds the site, it will be indexed. It's not that difficult.

If it must get indexed in a hurry, submit an article to a few article submission sites, just Google/Yahoo article submission site

Write something relevant to your site if you can, and get some links.

Easy enough? Good... get to work! :)
