Cannot get rid of the banners

I have updated my ad_network.php file numerous times with the code that is given when you choose the text link only option yet when I refresh my archive the banners are still there. How can I get it to stop showing banners if I am using the updated code for text links?

Could it be something persisting from the old setup that I didnt remove when I upgraded? What could be causing the banners to show even though I have selected the "text only" option

Never mind I figured it out, the ad_network_ads.txt was caching I just had to upload a blank copy Grrr I wish I wasnt such a dumb canadian

 

I think you have to empty your text file.
