Today I've been trying to find health and beauty forums to post messages with my signature. The vast majority will not allow you to post signatures. Is their a quick way of finding relevant forums that will allow this. Failing this is posting in seo forums (non relevant forums) as good for link building as posting in relevant ones. Thanks
Where there's a will there is a way. However, I will say this, generally you do not just need signature links, however yes it does help, but if your looking for a BL you can just enter in your site within your forum profile. Many people are doing this and it actually helps get a BL. As far as health and beauty goes, what I would do is goto G and type in whatever kind of forum your looking for, then when a list of them shows up, find the one that you like the most, and then hit "similar". You will be given a list of them which may be worth your time. And no, I don't believe you will find a lot of forums that are dofollow and allow people under 10 posts to start using their links in sig's. You would need to invest some time and credibility, if not, don't bother because you would just be spamming and in any forum you'll find yourself banned quickly if the mod's are smart.
Hi kidsko Thanks for the tip about puting links in profile. I did look at about 10 H&B forums today and they would flat out not allow links in signature regardless of the number of posts.
Okay here is the way to do it. 1. Make a search using this criteria : "Forum-Platform" your keywords 2. Make sure links are allowed on the forum by searching on some posts. 3. Make sure links are dofollow. Use SEO for firefox. 4. Make at least 10 posts. Many forums only allows links when they believe you are going to be a regular member not a spammer. 5. Here is the secret about this technique. Link signatures are worthless in these days. Better put the link in the post. Make a contribution to the forum. If you have a blog post that you believe it will help the forum members post it as a thread(post the link to your post). Moreover, you will get traffic from the forum and potential backlinks from other webmasters. NOTE: "Forum-platform" should be replaced by the following: "powered by vBulletin" "powered by WowBB" "powered by phpBB" and so on
