Cannot find .htaccess file

    Hi,

    I need help finding my .htaccess file in the Cpanel. The searcher finds it, but I cannot actually see it in the folder.

    Is there such an option as "hidden file" or anything like that...

    yes there is a question of hidden files since files names starting with a dot are the way to hide files in unix.
    I don't know about cpanel, but by using ftp there's an option to display hidden files. I use filezilla as my ftp client and there's such an option, I always put it to show hidden files, I do the same on my windows machine, I like to be able to see hidden files and file extensions too :)

    Solved it, it's a hidden file... original was blank, though...
