Cannot Edit Threads I Create

Just wondering why I cannot edit the threads I have created.

I can edit them once or twice, but not again, its a pain, especially when selling domains, saying the domain is sold in the original first post.

 

Well basically I think that the "edit" button goes away after 8 hours. Now, after about 10 minutes if you edit, it will say; "you edited the post at <time> for <reason>". If you edit within the first 1-2 minutes that won't show up. OK, to get back to the main point, just edit within 8 hours and you will be fine. If you sold the domain after 8 hours, I think you should be fine in posting "domain is sold" or something along those lines.

You can use an offsite image, then keep editing that image, but keeping the same URL, so you can inform them of the new relevant information,

 

AgentDweeb's answer is correct. You may only edit for 8 hours.
