Cannot delete a spam message

Whatever I do, it just seems to be impossible to delete this spam message despite trying several times to get rid of it.

What can I do please?

Ok, it's finally disappeared of it's own accord in the past minute, not sure what that was all about.

I had the same problem with the same message. I could not even get the "mark as read" to work. I finally just opened the darn thing.

 

Yeah same issue, it's just his I don't know why.

 

I think the queries that mark the messages as read / delete etc are backed up. I deleted all my PM's 10 minutes ago and they're still there. Either I'm very popular and the same guys keep PM'ing me or it's a database issue

 

It will go eventually, the worrying thing is, has it affected any other legit pm messages, as they kept on coming up as new too, when in fact they had already been read.

My suspicion is that they are inserting some sort of malware into the private messaging system here which is kind of worrying.

Mods just seem to say, it's your problem, deal with it, and take little interest unfortunately.

I know their busy but sometimes you just wish that you felt like you might be listened to at this forum, rather than have your concerns brushed aside.

It's a shame.

 

Here is what I am seeing in PM and me too not able to delete it

The username is surbjbesh and he has 0 posts.

 

It's because the DB servers are messed up. Shawn knows, but there is nothing he can do.

 

A few of the servers are F'd up...you do not have to delete things more than once...they will eventually disappear.
