Cannot Create New Twitter Account: Twitter's Instructions Don't Work

    I find it amazing that Twitter's own instructions about how to create a new Twitter account when in an existing account do not work.

    Twitter's instructions are as follows:

    To add additional accounts:

    1. In the top menu, tap your profile icon.
    2. Tap the more icon
    3. From here you can Create new account or Add an existing account.

    But this doesn't work because there is no option in the More section to either Create New Account or to Add an Existing Account!

    See screenshot. These are the only options available.

    So does anyone have any idea how to create a new Twitter account?

    I'd love to know. More to the point, why is Twitter providing disinformation?

    disinformation is, perhaps, a strong word.

    on ios I get the create an account option and the form shows
    on desktop I only get the option to add an existing account.

    I wonder if Twitter Admin know about this. It would be staggering if they did not!

    And, as this is the case, does anyone know how anyone can add new accounts to Twitter?
