Hi Everyone New user to these forums, I had a look around previous posts for an answer to my question but found no direct answer. I am trying to add my wordpress blog feed to my own MyMSN page (master plan of mine to possibly speed up the rate of page indexing by MSMBot). After logging into my MSN account I click on the 'Add content' button and then enter my sites feed into the resulting 'search for content' pop up box i.e. http://tomakemoneyonline.net/feed/ However MyMSN tells me that 'There are currently no matches containing "url:http://tomakemoneyonline.net/feed/".... I have tried adding www, removing http etc but to no avail. The RSS feed definitely works as I have successfully completed this 'adding feed to your reader' exercise with both Google Reader and MyYahoo with some indexing success. I did see a forum post that suggested using MSN's Live.com and add it to their own RSS reader. I have done this successfully but MSNBot still does not come calling to my site so really want to add my feed to MyMSN if possible. Any ideas anyone how to add a feed to MyMSN that MSN does not seem to know about ?
Quick update I have now been able to add my rss feed to myMSN, I can only attribute this to MSN eventually finding my feed from their own crawls or from scans of other engine results. Also I now have pages entering MSN's index which may be down to the 'add feed' process. If you have this same issue all I can suugest is that you have patience and keep going back to MSN and eventually your new site's feed will be in the MSN database and you will be able to add it. I have written about my experiences with getting indexed in MSN in these posts on my site.
