Anybody know why this happen. Cannot access my site. "Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 77824 bytes) in /home/ivonson/public_html/wp-content/plugins/revver/xmlrpc-2_2/xmlrpc.inc on line 2551" I try log in to my cpanel and find php.ini. Can anybody tell me where it is located. I'm just running a wordpress blog and several sales marketing letter.
This is really nothing more than a wild stab in the dark but I'll have a go anyway. Firstly, the error message tells you that a single page on your site has tried to use more than 8MB of RAM. 8MB is a normal setting for the upper limit on RAM usage so I wouldn't suggest changing this unless you have a good reason. The next two interesting bits of information are "/revver/" and "/xmlrpc.inc". From memory, revver is a movie hosting site similar to YouTube. XMLRPC is a method for running commands on other servers... trackbacks work using XMLRPC calls. I'm not sure whether this plugin is make remote calls to another server or if some other server is making calls to yours. We can't be sure yet whether the revver plugin is the cause of the problem or if it just the "straw that broke the camel's back" but because it's all we have got, that's where we should start. Try removing that plugin from WordPress and see if the problem goes away.
That's what I thought the revver plugin, but then i cannot log into my wordpress admin even. The error message comes out .
No it's not my plugin. But some other script. So how do i change it. Where can I restart the server or change the memory. Do i go to apache?
You have reach your storage quota, go to your ftp and delete some backup files or whatever files you dont need anymore. And then you will be ready to go
