I would contact Google and ask them to be on the safe side, if not can you not just take over that account and either change the bank details/address or let her give you the money every month.

I don't think google will ban ur ac if u will not use the ac.
However, if u will contact adsense support team that u want to close ac then they will do it for u but remember u can't access ur old email address and ac again as a adsense publisher ( u need to create new one, and have new email, there is also a time period in which u can withdraw ur earnings.)

hey... you can use it on all of your sites that you own. Its not that you have to use it only on the site for which you applied for the adsense account

I can't understand why you are so keen on cancelling your account. Why she is not using it?

Just create a blog in blogger and post some 5 to 10 posts with adsense enabled and leave it.

Now your account is active. When you really want to make some money with adsense then make some real good sites and promote them.

Just leave the account still and stiff and they will come around to it. It won't have any funds in it so they will not really care. If you have an instinct to contact them since YOU will still be using their services then I say do so.

Why do you think Google will ban your account for non usage?
It's the first time I hear something like this. I highly doubt it they will ban you for this.
