Canceled campaign, now my site can't be found

I have a site that ranked well in search results for a couple semi-competitive keywords and ranked well for several months. I decided to give Adwords a try for the first time. I canceled the campaign after a few hours because it was all a bit confusing and I want to research more before I blow off a bunch of money. Within a few days my site was nowhere to be found on Google's search! I never ranked as well on Yahoo but my spot was still there. I think this is Google's response to me dropping the Adwords campaign for that site. Has anyone else experienced this?

As far as I know, Adwords doesn't affect the natural search results of the site you are promoting.

thats is strange as adwords has nothing to do with SERP. otherwise google will face big legal battle. its just kinda crazy these days with google ranking position. i had a site that was coming up in ranking and was at 17 for my desired keyword but for last couple of days, i cannot find it either. maybe google is doing some updates and not all the datacenters are showing the same results
