    Hi,

I am just looking for some advice.

I am a Canadian Corporation and I am becoming an Azoogle publisher and I would like to know which Tax forms are actually required.

I know that the W-8BEN is but what about the W-8ECI or the W-8IMY are they actually required?

    Thank you in advance.

    Any help would be great.

    Skylar.

IF you are a Canadian...I am too...we dont fill those forms....I have never filled out any of the tax forms required by the American affiliate companies....including CJ...adsense..clickbank..kontera....

I am not a corporation tho....not sure about that...but still I dont think you would fill those out..

I am also from Canada, although Adsense, Adbrite and some affiliate companies don't require you to submit a tax form, other like Azoogle, CJ, Hydra do. You won't get payment unless they have those forms on file.

Actually Azoogle won't even let you login anymore until they receive the proper documentation.

    Cheers

I never filled out a tax form for CJ. AND Yes I am active on CJ for many years and received payouts.

If you don't have a SSN...which Canadians Don't..then there is NO point in filling out any American Tax forms, IF you are Canadian.

You can simply email the affiliate manager and explian you are a Canadian, and they will create a foreign status account for you which does NOT require any more proofs.

IF you are a CANADIAN....DO NOT give them your SIN...Social Insurance Number.

SIN is NOT a substitute for a SSN.

    HI everyone,

Thank you for all your help.

I spoke to my accountant and filled out the tow W-8 forms that where required by Azoogle.

I am not quite sure why Azoogle requires these forms perhaps it is because they have a Canadian office as well.

I will let you all know how I do with Azoogle.

Wealth and Prosperity to you all,
    Skylar.

Lots of companies require the forms. They have to for tax purposes. As for us Canadians due to agreements between the US and Canada you only pay tax in the country of residence even though you may do "business" with the other. This way you don't get double taxed.

If you get payments from any affiliate network with an office in Canada you have to charge them GST once your yearly worldwide revenues exceed $30,000. In your case, you should be charging Azoogle if you've passed $30k. Just remember, it's worldwide revenues, not profits.
