Canadian Auto-Trader Like Site-Make An Offer

Hi guys/gals,

Once again I feel the need to sell one of my beloved sites. The new project I am working on is, and will require a lot of my time for the next little while.
(You've probably heard this from me before, and I'll anounce the project in the next week or two. Now, it's no youtube, but it is pretty cool and original.)

Anyways,

I have spent a little over $1000 on this site www sellmyride (dot) ca

I believe this site has HUGE potential. With the right person who wants to "baby" it I am sure, no, positive you will succeed. Besides the good domain name, it also has a younger feel to it that attracts many 20 somethings but also appeals to the over 40 crowd.

I have put up a couple of free ads in the Ottawa area and got a nice response. I haven't put any ads or boomarks, etc. for the rest of the site.

Site is not monetized yet. I am sure you will know how to do this or have your own ideas.

The script was purchased from Netartmedia.net (Car portal). Their support is awesome and the script has so many options I really don't know what to do with it all.

It also includes a fully setup forum and the Simple Media Script from www.entertainmentscripts.com

Nice site, how would it make money? i dont see fees to user to sell their car.

 

I haven't put fees on yet. There is an option in the admin area for this. You can make any plan you like.

You can also charge for ads to be displayed once it gets popular, etc..

 

No one wants to make a reasonable offer? I think this site could definately make good money for a savvy business person.

Any savvy business people out there?
