I was talking to a friend who has advised me that Canadian patriotic heart-strings are tugged with .ca domains. I have no real evidence that this is the case. Has anyone have any feedback one way or the other? Do Americans experiece any patriotic feelings over .us domains? My website is targeted at an audience in the Toronto area and I chose .com
Personally I still think .com is the best, it gives your site a professional feel to it. I don't think .us names are better in any way at all... It's all about your company, I believe you made the right choice picking the .com.
Hi, I am born and raised and lived my entire life in Toronto. Trust me, go for the .com! Toronto gets alot of tourists, and .com is the safe bet. Whenever i see a .ca, I think to myself that the .com name must already be taken! This is the glory of the internet...its not local, its worldwide!
