Can Your Wisdom Teeth Come in - in Your Forties?

I am in my mid-forties and have an annoying ache around where my top left wisdom tooth would be. Yesterday I had severe chills, and an annoying headache (that just was noticeable when I turned slightly, looked at a light, screen, etc) and now the headache is still there and the annoying pain as well.

I think my wisdom teeth are coming but are infected, is this even possible in your forties though? I read somewhere "16-30"

It is definitely late but that doesn't mean you have acquired the wisdom belatedly...:p
Consult your dentist at once, since it is infected; sometimes the dentist will remove it, if found problematic.
