Can your old articles from your dead website be republished 5yrs later?

Hi all,

Curious to know if you can republish articles you wrote 5 yrs or so ago on your website that you then let die.

Did a duplicate content check and came up 100% unique but on waybackmachine some text on the site is still stored but not not showing up when checking.

Or would reviving that site by purchasing old domain or creating new domain be better although irrelevant if content is logged somewhere.

Buy old domain is the only one way to revive the site with old content.

 

If old domain is dead then what is issue with those old contents .... Google update his indexed information time to time ...... So if old website is dead then i am sure google will not show that information for long time ........ So according to me if old site dead then can publish easily without any issue .... and contents will not count as duplicate by search engines.

 

Of course you can as long as you own the rights to the articles.
