Can your host limate your traffic? Just a question as I get very good keyword rankings but never over 300 visitors a day! could me hosting provider be stopping the flow of traffic? if so anyway to find out if they are doing it to me?

    Hello, Audiomad.

AFAIK there is no way they can limit the traffic to your website, except closing your account. Anyway, what would be the reason to do so? I suppose you are paying for a certain bandwidth. As long as you do not exceed that bandwidth there is no reason to cut off your traffic. Usually, 300 visitors a day is not such a great traffic as to exceed the bandwidth allotted to a regular account.

I think the best way to be sure is just to ask them. A good hosting company should not be disturbed for such a question. Just ask politely if there is some reason why they could be doing such thing.

    Good luck.

Another way to check is use traffic exchange services for ONE DAY, like AutoHits.dk, open the browning page for one day, and then check ur site stats, if it increases 300 hits then your host is not capping your traffic, but if it still shows less while showing more in the AutoHits.dk control panel, then u need to ask for ur host's support...
