Can you use the same article for Ezinearticles on your blog also?

Let's say i write a article for ezinearticles or Hup pages, and copy and paste that article and use it for my blog, would Google look at that as duplicate content?

The article would be for the exact same website and under the same writer.

Supposably you can with no ill effect. I have done it for a few articles of mine, it's worked well. People will be mixed answers on whether or not it is duplicate, but something you can do is to change up your article a bit for the article directory so it's not word for word. Add a small section or remove any keyword heavy sections that are the same as the original article. That will keep you safe for sure.

For example if i wrote a article and used the title "Internet TV vs Regular TV" for ezinearticles

And changed it to "Watching TV Online vs Regular TV for my blog

Throught the 1st article use the keyword Internet TV, but in the 2nd article use the keyword Watch TV Online.

But use pretty much the same article. Is that still considered a duplicate

You'll be fine, think of the people that get trackbacks to there blog posts, no harm done there.

What if they do peg it as "duplicate content"? Yeah, so what?

You should definitely tweak your article a little before you put it on your blog.

Just make sure that you have your article approved by ezinearticles
before you send it to anywhere else.

I want make that mistake again. I got in a hurry one time and didn't
sent to ezinearticles until the next day and that one didn't get approved.
    Live and learn.

But, as the others had said just make some changes in the beginning, middle,
and end and you should be good to go.

When you write content and use the same content for any other site
it is considered duplicate content if you don't change it.

It doesn't required a great deal of changes but it does require change.

Adding a new paragraph at the beginning, middle and end should help.
In any case I don't think the search engines will mark you down very
    much if any.

I would make the changes though just to be safe. Since its you content
to begin with there will not be many copies out there with the same info.
It becomes a problem when an article is used hundreds of times and no
    changes made.
