Can you use both adsense and YPN on the same site?

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If not on the same page, what if I were to put YPN on the index page, and to use adsense on all of the internal pages - is that a violation?

You can't run ads that are contextual and looks & feels like AdSense.

    lol 3 different answers?

i think the not on same page was old ... however i dont understand '[can't] use the same layout and colors as the Google ads or search boxes' from the beginning ... i don't want to assume anything and get in trouble ... i.e. can i assume it is safe to just use a different color for the link / title but the rest is the same? no one can answer except them.

You are not allowed to have them on the same page, but you could have them on different pages

You can make a little script to publish ads as 50%/50%

Split them 50/50 and see which program you perform best with and then give them 100% of the traffic.

I think it use to be alright, but Google changed their TOS apparently and it is no longer alright. So I believe it must be a no.

I don't think you can use both of them at the same time....maybe Adsense and Kontera will work...

It's not a problem from the Google point of view as long as the competing ads don't look confusingly similar HOWEVER I believe it's against the YPN rules so overall the answer is NO.

    ContryBoy has it right..
It is no longer against the Google TOS to have YPN and Adsense on the same page as long as the "look and feel" are different. It is, however against the YPN TOS, so it would be a no-no.
You can have them on the same site but different pages, but the Google TOS states that they still cannot have the same "look and feel".

google says as long as they dont look a like.
"ads by google" looks different then "ads by yahoo" to me. :p

    YPN TOS:
no you can't have google ads on the same page. :p
