    The site i just purchased has amazon affiliate set up. Will the wmazon affiliate part pose a problem to being accepted into adsense?

    It is fine.Amazon ad doesn't violate Adsense TOS.You can use both of them in a site.

    Yes many sites run both. They don't look alike which is all adsense is worried about.
