    Hi

I have a question and need to ask some one that knows more than me... (wont be hard,,,haha)

is their any SE penalty of hosting 3 or 4 domains all same theme all interlinking promoting one subject matter on the same host? or rewording it...

is there any benefit of hosting these different domains on different hosts ( they have similar or same internal links and content)

Can you clear this up for me?

    Thanks
    Rob

sites linked on the same ip wont give you as much credit for PageRank as they would on separate IPs

I believe if they are on the same Ip they are considered as Internal links

The only benefit is for SEO porposes, they will value your websites as a different ones if you host them on different IPs

thanks for that. so really I should get other hosting for the other domains as this could be better in the longer term.

it's not just about different IPs, they need to be different class c IP's.

beyond that, it's certainly not the only way google identifies (and devalues) "link incest." naturally linking in between your pages is fine, but don't abuse it and you'll be fine, same IP or not.

Google assumes that crosslinking sites on the same class "C" are owners "voting" for their own sites- so it won't give you the same SERP benefit as if another "unrelated site" was linking to you.
