You can't. Well, in theory you COULD. But it wouldn't make you a dime.

You have a good risk of being banned by adsense as a "significant risk" to advertisers for publishing duplicate content.

While many crappy sites are on the web using duplicate copy, adsense tends to yank these from publishers when they get to the $100 payout threshold.

So you "can" do it, but to play Google's words back on you, you have a "significant risk" of being banned if you do.

Remember, "duplicate" matching is usually done using software. So think like a machine. How can a machine spot duplicate content? By matching the sequence of words, right? I haven't yet seen a computer program that can appreciate writing styles of humans. So try to put content that will throw off the machines. :D

Your only problem now, are the boy scouts. These are the paranoid people who often feels that their competitors for adsense money, are not playing fair and will blow the whistle on you. :D What they do is search the internet for their competitors on the same niche, and try to destroy you. :D

The best idea is to take the Wikipedia article, and either modify it significantly to make it unique; or use it as research material for an original article.

This can save you significant time on researching an article from scratch, while ensuring you don't get into trouble with search engines and advertisers.

100$ a day or 100$ / month? Personally, I think ripping off wiki is okay, but as long as you do it to complement a site, instead of building your entire site about copied content.

I agree, you can do it, but its really points. You wont cover the hosting&domain expenses.
