I started this site a month or 2 ago, it's been indexed but it's not ranking for anything, i could do with an SEO master taking a look and letting me know if they see any big problems with it the garden furniture site has the problems

To get good SERP ranking in google, you need to work on your seo. Both onsite and offsite works the best here. You can find a lot of posts on DP about this, just hit search button and start your search if you want to find more about onsite and offsite seo. My suggestion is to fully optimize on seo point of view. There are a few points that you can check using websitegrader.com site. Try to improve the errors and follow some recommendations like extending your domain expiry period. It works.
The more competition there is on a keyword, the more it demands from you to compete with other sites/pages for thoose keywords. so you CAN rank well for some keywords doing nothing, but on the keywords the brink alot of visitors you must be able to compete on backlinks, content...etc Let me know if u need any help on your seo/backlinks

I see you have an empty H1 tag also. Quality backlinks as mentioned is needed. Perhaps start a blog on blogger.com and link back to parts of your store. Just keep pushing, 2 months is not very long.
I agree. Do the above steps and be patient. In doing SEO, you're not going to see results over night. It can take months. It can be discouraging to do a lot of the work and not results, but you have to be persistent. If you keep at it, you will help.
If your theme keyword is "garden furniture" then why do you have "uk" in your domain name? Anyways, you have garden furniture in your title and in your description so your on page factors are good. Good point gragster, building links back to your main URL is also a good way to build quality backlinks, especially if the pages you have backlinks have high page ranks an are SEO optimized.
